Rides to Remember
As US states go, Maryland is a small one. But because of its location, there is a wide variety of terrain. We live in Central Maryland. Pretty much smack in the middle of the state. Drive a couple of hours east and you hit the ocean. Drive a couple of hours west and you're in the mountains. Heck, 20 minutes southeast of here is the Chesapeake Bay. The nation's capitol is only 30 minutes south of use, too.
The variety is the one thing I've always loved about Maryland. The not-so-great aspect of Maryland? It's crowded. And it semms to keep getting more and more populated every single day.
But, if you look hard (and we have!), you can still find some great places to ride. There are quite a few routes we use regularly to go to and from our WV place that avoid interstates and other multi-lane highways almost completely. You can also find some unique sites, like the toll bridge pictured below in Oldtown, Maryland.

It'll take me a little while to assemble Maryland ride info. I know that seems a bit backward since Maryland is our primary state of residence, but for the past five years or so, most of our rides have started and ended at our WV place.

Trust me, though. I've got the info. I'll post it all soon. I promise.
